Who We Are
Hello!Sarah Perry is a Southern Highlands–based horticulturalist and landscape designer with a deep love of flora and fauna, people, and creating functional places that feel good to be in.
Currently completing her landscape design studies, Sarah brings together hands-on horticultural knowledge, a sharp design eye, and over twenty years working across creative industries. With an MBA and a background teaching colour and material theory at Billy Blue College of Design, she has a knack for seeing both the big picture and the fine detail - from how a garden flows through a site to how a leaf catches the light.
Sarah’s approach is grounded in plant ecology and a practical respect for how landscapes evolve and change over time. She designs beautiful gardens that support habitat, respond to their surroundings, and work for everyday life. Think thoughtful planting, honest materials, and landscapes that settle in rather than shout.
As the founder of Wallflower Projects, Sarah works closely with clients to translate ideas, questions, and garden dreams into considered outdoor spaces. A certified Gallup Strengths Coach, she’s known for listening well, asking the right questions, and making sure the design process is collaborative and enjoyable!
Sarah designs gardens for new homes, small to medium residential landscapes, and rural properties across the Southern Highlands. Her aim is simple: to create gardens that feel effortless, resilient, and quietly generous - places that are fit for purpose and to be enjoyed by all!
